OT: Fat Boy Slim - Google First Dammit!

Don't know if you've heard Fat Boy Slim's new single, but other than sounding like a bad rendition of a Beastie Boys song, it sounds like an add for Slashdot.  It goes :

“Slash dot, slash dot, slash dot, slash dot, slash dot, slash dot, dot dot com!“

...Or something thereabouts. I don't think this was intentional, as a matter of fact, I don't think he knows anything about Slashdot.

Don't get me wrong, I like Slashdot as much as the next guy, but this song is just awful, and even more intolerable because it sounds like an advertisement. 

He should have Googled first.

BTW, Googling first is not just for Bloggers! I heard an interview with a national press journalist the other day, and she said that she Googles before she submits anything to her editors!

I've always thought FBS is really hit or miss. Either his stuff is really good or really BAD, there's no middle ground.

Its a sample nicked from from LSK (Leigh Kenny - now a member of Faithless), LSK was pissing about in the stoodio and stuck some jokey stuff on CD, next thing he hears himself being played on radio 1 as the new Slim single...anyway did I say 'nicked' of course now it's paid for :-)

Okay slight exaggeration, BUT, entering in my 10 digit phone number and using my index fingerprint to get through the turnstile is pretty high tech for a quick sweat. And this is just a regular 24 Hour Fitness Center… not ultra, not even sport.
