I'm looking forward to further environmental deregulation, widening the gap btw haves and have-nots, blurring the line btw church and state, blatant disregard for science and concepts like 'the world not being flat' etc , and -- if we're fortunate -- privatization of everything like schools, roads, and all our "nation building" military ventures.

I wonder if this guy practiced on easier targets before trying lions. Maybe penguins or something...

This win is very telling of what the Majority of Americans want, in my opinion. It was a clear victory for Bush. With historical vote numbers in this election, Democrats really need to ask themselves why the majority of Americans would rather have an obviouly inept Republican president than a mediocre Democrat.

I really believe that this country has turned with this election. We're clearly showing where our values are - Americans are for traditional family values and the bible over education, the economy, health care, human rights, pretty much everything else.

It's really too bad the zoo keepers missed the guy with the tranquilizer and shot the lions instead.

He must have a screw loose, because a true Christian would know that animals don't need to be saved.
