Blog First. Ask Questions Later.

We're Full Up...

So, we have a couple of more exciting blogs to still set up, but we're not accepting any new bloggers for the time being.  If you are interested in blogging here, send me an email, and you'll be in the queue if we decide to add more blogs at a later date.   We're trying to keep the main feed lean and mean, I hope everyone out there appreciates this!

You might want to turn compression on then (http://www.pipeboost.com/getreport.asp?URL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.codebetter.com%2Fblogs%2F)
would make things a fair bit leaner :-)

Yes, I've been trying to get the time to get Jeff Julian's Dottext.Web.HttpCompression deployed... My ISP doesn't seem to want to do it at the IIS level.. Thanks, though!

Nice, does that just compress the RSS feed though? You could also use Ben Lowery's (or a variant I think ScottW came up with) to compress the rest of the content - main page etc...good discussion here: http://scottwater.com/blog/archive/2004/09/08/IIS6_HttpCompress_NotSoFast

Scott, yeah, not sure why the mods just compressed the RSS. Thanks for the links!
