Book Giveaway Winner - Week 1 - Design Patterns

Congratulations to Courtney Bearse, the winner of Week 1 of the Great CodeBetter Eight-Week Fall Book Giveaway

Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software

Courtney will be receiving a copy of Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software

Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software (ISBN 0-201-63361-2) is a software engineering book proposing standard solutions and naming conventions to common problems in software design. The book's authors are Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph Johnson and John Vlissides, known as the "Gang of Four" or simply "GoF". The book is divided into two parts, with the first giving the definition of software design patterns and the second giving a list of practical reusable design patterns. It is accompanied by examples in C++ and Smalltalk.

Next week's drawing will be for a copy of Essential Windows Workflow Foundation

Note: I've only had seventeen entries so far, so you chances of winning a book over the next seven weeks are fairly high.  Get your entry to me today!

Since part of the entry fee to the contest was a link from your blog, I would have liked to see a link to the winners blog.  Code Better's readers may be people whose blogs I would want to follow.
