A new version, 2.0 BETA, of the Data Access Application Block is available for download and Beta-testing on GotDotNet Workspaces.
It finally supports typed DataSets out-of-the-box! Originally my team wrote had to write code to extend the DAAB to do this, since we use strongly-typed DataSets for almost everything. The project also includes unit tests for the DAAB functionality, which is something else we had to write. I hope to take an in-depth look at it soon, but it looks like Microsoft is getting with the program!
