I haven’t really been following the SOA discussions much. Chalk it up to indifference. I mean, how many times have we heard about the technology that is going to save the world for developers?
But I was reading James Avery’s blog, and he has posted five times (more now) on SOA since Jan 1st. Good grief man, that’s more time spent blogging than I’ve been awake in the new year! So, being the loyal reader that I am (and I get blog-love back from the .Avery blog) I went ahead and read them. Yes, all five of them. I almost had to switch to my left hand to count them all.
Oh yes, that’s a long list. So now that you’ve read all those, I will enjoy telling you that YOU ARE NOT DONE! No no. You need to read all the comments (26 at last count) since they have tons more information in them. Oh, and the related articles by Brian Vargas, Steve Maine, Clemens Vasters, and Don Box's SOA focused MSDN TV Episodes (Part 1, Part 2). And maybe top it off by checking out the Shadowfax architecture.
That should keep you busy for a while.
