Check out these pictures of Tropical Storm Gaston (not Frances) from Shockoe Bottom, which contains most of the nightlife and trendy restaurants in downtown Richmond, VA. With water levels of 9-10 feet, the pictures are amazing.

No kidding. I thought, why the heck didn't those people leave? But 10 feet of water in 20 minutes sure doesn't give you any time to leave!
