Agile Project Management: Conclusion

This is part 10 of a 10-part series I am writing on Agile Project Management, by Jim Highsmith.

Finally we come to the end of our exploratory journey in agile project management led by Jim Highsmith. The two questions we must ask ourselves are, “Are we delivering innovative products to our customers?” and “Are we excited about going to work today?”

If not, perhaps agile project management can help. Reliable innovation spurred on by exciting product visions. Project managers that bring out the best in their team rather than managers that bring out the worst in Gantt charts. The belief that people are more important than the process.

Let’s get started!

So what did you think of doing a 10 part review? It gave me something quick to read during my day and was a nice summary of each chapter. I"ll have to go back through all ten though and see how they flow together.

Overall it was pretty good. I'm not sure if I'll do it again though. I'm still thinking about it.
