It's like Google for Job Searches

It's like Google for job searches, Indeed. You type what, and maybe where, and you get jobs from Monster, HotJobs, Dice, CareerBuilder, individual company sites, and more. And searches for ".NET" actually use the dot! Can you say RSS for searches? Indeed can.

This is absolutely frickin' huge!

Indeed is just more of the same. Most the listings are from staffing companies. The others listings are from massive corporations. There's no substitute for networking!

Doug - I agree that most jobs are placed through networking. However, I also think that searching the job boards gives you invaluable information on who is hiring, for what skillsets, what positions, etc. Couple that info with a salary.com salary survey, and you've got major bargaining power in interviews/salary negotiations!
