South Florida Code Camp on Saturday!

South Florida Code Camp

The South Florida Code Camp will be rockin' on Saturday. I so look forward to this event! There are so many cool developers in the South Florida area that I only get to meet during this event, and the codecamp sessions are always good and informative.

I am presenting a session bright and early in the ASP.NET MVC Track, called Getting Started with the ASP.NET MVC Framework, where I plan to hit the following topics:

  • ASP.NET PostBack Model
  • ASP.NET MVC "Restful" Model
  • Model-View-Presenter vs. Model-View-Controller
  • Routing
  • Controllers
  • Views
  • View-Controller Communication
  • Extensibility: Dependency Injection, Alternate View Engines
  • MVCToolkit
  • MVCContrib
  • AJAX

I look forward to seeing you at the event!

Hi David,

Any chance you're going to use Camtasia and record your talk?

I've never had the pleasure of hearing you speak. Though from reading your posts (especially on VAB) I'm sure it's a treat. Any chance you'll give us guys over the ocean a taste of presentation skills? :)

Same question here too:"Can you please record it? "  :)

I will create a couple of screencasts once I get back from the code camp and post them on PnPGuidance.net. I find that the screencasts are of much better quality than trying to videotape a presentation with all the background noise, etc.

www.pnpguidance.net/screencasts.aspx

I'll let you know when they are done :)
