Lovely, *walks into meeting*.

Manager: You contractors have been doing a fine job, yadda yadda yadda.  However to cut costs we've decided to offshore contracting positions to russia.  If you have any personal belongings at your desks, you will be escorted there and then out of the building.

So yeah, I guess I'm available now if anyone out there has a need for a VB .NET / C# developer specializing in ASP .NET (2 yrs total .NET exp).

Man that is so wrong. What city will you be looking for work in? Perhaps the dotnet blogisphere can come up with some quick leads for a brotha who's down on his luck.

I'm currently living in Albany, NY.

However I'm originally from Ohio and my parents still live there, so anywhere in the midwest would definately be attractive so my family could be closer to the grandparents.

My darling wife doesn't like the cold, so I'm looking down south as well. My grandparents and various aunts and uncles live in Florida, so the southeast wouldn't be bad either.

Frankly I've never really enjoyed living in NY anyway for climate, home prices, and tax reasons.
