Favorite .NET 2.0 BCL Features

I was over at the Cleveland .NET Special Interest Group meeting on Tuesday and the presenter talked about some of the new stuff in .NET 2.0 and the Base Class Library.  It got me to thinking about what my favorite new additions have been thusfar:

1. Generics- hands down, they rock.

2. String.IsNullOrEmpty()- It's about damn time.

On a side note, I'll be moving into my new house over the next week or two, I don't think Time Warner has the neighborhood wired for cable/internet yet so I'll probably be scarce until that hookup happens.  So if we have any fans in Northeast Ohio Time Warner, nudge that project for me.

It's in a relatively new subdevelopment. The "older" (<4 years) parts of the subdevelopment have time warner. This is a brand new cul-de-sac add on which just doesn't have the backbone run yet.

I know they're going to hook it up sometime soon, I just know it's not in yet.

Oh, and my father has worked in nuclear power from grunt to management for over 25 years. From what I've seen and know I really wouldn't be bothered living near a plant. ;)

I'd add to the list all of the TryParse methods. They were well overdue.
