I've been slacking in the blog posting department of late. It's a combination of many, many things going on at work and my regular work-related activities like WeProgram.Net and teaching with ITPro. I doubt you're interested in excuses . . . so let me shut up and simply offer my latest addition to the .Net community . . . a review of Don Box's Essential.Net posted on WeProgram.Net (the review is available here).
I've read a few of the “Essential” series from Addison-Wesley and I like them; Don Box's book stands out, in my opinion, because he leverages such a detailed understanding of the CLR. As I say in the review, even though I don't “get” every point Box makes, I still like the book and appreciate the niche it fills in the world of .Net technical books. The world could use a few more Essential .Nets and a few less Teach Yourself .Net in 24 minutes!
Happy .Netting!
