Mark DiGiovanni brings up a good point about certification and posting of exam questions. While I teach at ITPro, which certainly helps others to obtain their certs, I insist on teaching people to become good developers and not just good test takers and memorizers. This is partly why I only teach part-time, and work as a software developer full-time!
Just look at what has become of the MCSE certifications! There's hundreds of thousands (seriously!) of certified MCSEs out there (over 200,000 for Win2K); http://www.mcpmag.com/ posts the statistics. Talk about diluting the value of an industry certification . . .
In conjunction with Microsoft, we're responsible for ensuring the integrity of the MCSD program. Let's keep it “premium“ certification!
