Free .Net hosting

A colleague just pointed out this resource for free .Net hosting for a year, no strings attached.  I can't personally vouch for it but it looks like a darn good deal.  Those early days of rapant free .Net hosting, circa 2002, are long gone!

I get asked about free hosting from students from time to time, and for them "offshoring" a test website is hardly a concern.

For production apps, though I wouldn't host at a "free provider" because you have no leverage if their hardware or connectivity goes bad; you often get what you pay for! As for the "offshoring" of professional hosting services, you'd have to evaluate the nature of the application and what any ramifications might be (wrt security, tech support availability, public image, etc).
