I was trolling the Internet this afternoon looking for information on the standard fonts used by the various operating systems (Win98, Win2K, WinXP, Win2K3, Vista) and came across one of the most unusual (but very cool) blogs yet.
fontblog
This is an MSDN blog from the font (type actual) gurus at Microsoft and contains some very cool information on fonts, typefaces, ClearType and a host of other font related topics. It's also got a link to Microsoft's own Typography site which is also pretty cool. One post that really caught my eye was "Where Does 96 dpi Come From in Windows".
Pretty cool reading for a late Friday afternoon.
