Visual Studio 2005: Consolas Font Pack Released

Microsoft has quietly released a Consolas ClearType Font Pack intended to replace "Courier New" as the default font used in Visual Studio 2005. Being the brave soul I am, I installed this (on a secondary development machine of course) and was pleased to see that the new Consolas font really is much easier on the eyes than Courier New.

Interesting that there's no mention of this (yet) on the MSDN web site. I guess those font guys are pretty sneaky!

Brendan,

Just a local time-warp issue I think. Proof reading is a deprecated skill.
