Just a quick little post to prove to a Rob Carron [MSFT] that I'm really beginning to roll out Visual Studio Team Foundation Server for our development group.
When the setup instructions explain that you should install all the prerequisites (such as SQL Reporting Services) and then leave them unconfigured before installing TFS... DO EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAY! Otherwise you'll spend four or five hours trying to track down some very mysterious error messages before finally starting over. Let the Team Foundation Server setup routine configure everything. It really works great when you follow the instructions.
Ah well. Another lesson learned. Who says you can't teach an old dog a new trick!
