I don't know how Franklin comes up with these ideas - level 000

I don't know how he comes up with these ideas.  If you aren't familiar with Carl Franklin, you should be.  .Net Rocks was a podcast before anyone knew what a podcast was.  If you stopped listening to DNR when they had the non-technical spots like Google wierdos, and the like, they've come full circle.  It all content now.  It's great for a commute or any time you might otherwise be listening to the radio.  www.dotnetrocks.com.

Here's the picture Carl got of me at Tech Ed (my funny face).

I'd have to agree with DaRage.  It just seems like a silly culture kick to me, with no real content.  Too bad there's nothing else on .NET...

There is no objective measure for a "good" podcast or a "bad" podcast, so everyone can determine for themselves.  I've formed my opinion over several years, and I have listened to every episode.  There are certainly some shows I fast-forwarded through, but those tended to be when it was running 2 hours and had the entertainment pieces intermingled.

Different episodes also have different guests, so every show will be different.  That being said, no one show is going to appeal to everyone.

I'll post later on the podcasts I subscribe to (and I actually listened to internet radio and recorded audio before it was called podcasting, so I don't think I'm blinded by the hip craze that's going on now).

Michael, yes, there are other .Net podcasts out there.  I listen to them also.
