More signs of FubuMVC getting real

Just launched last night:  http://guides.fubumvc.com/.  The main page has been around for a couple weeks now at http://fubumvc.com/.

It's not that much yet, but I think the existence of *any* documentation at this point is a good indication that we're serious about making the FubuMVC reboot take off.

If you're interested in getting involved, there's a TODO list that Chad & I are trying to keep up with ideas for extending FubuMVC at http://wiki.fubumvc.com/TODO and the developers list is at http://groups.google.com/group/fubumvc-devel.

Daaammm! It ended so soon.

It looks really great. Each day I learn a bit more from FubuMVC development group.

It's a bit strange that at this moment in time in order to get something done in Fubu we rely on the bits and pieces from different blogs, and on the replies to the development mailing list.

However, once the docs are there, and people start doing some real apps with fubu things will fall into place really quickly.

Good luck, and I hope I'll find a way of contributing with more than just a .zip file in the mailing list.

Glancing through the documentation and just came across this gem: "FubuMVC looks unfavorably at XML and didn’t send it any Christmas cards last year (and probably won’t be next year for that matter, thank you)."

That's awesome :)

For a second I thought I was on the Rails Info website!

@Mike,

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Imitation? Heck, we took it straight from the source. Actually, we used Spree-Guides which are a fork of Rails Guides:

github.com/.../spree-guides

Tobin Harris set us up, apparently he's been doing a lot of stuff with the Spree Guides. They're easy to get going and easy to author with.

I was left wanting more. I loved the style of the writing and the guides themselves.

This is great work! It's good to see some real collaboration and a decent marketing push. Most OSS projects are so dry and boring.

Hopefully this will encourage more projects to move over to github as well.

Great guides! One thing that set me back a bit was that there's no namespace declaration for the classes in home.cs, which causes some havoc.

Thanks for the good work!
