Some 60 hours left before my plane takes of to LA, the tension is rising. Based on what I have read, experienced and imagined I have made a list of things to take along :

• The obvious documents : passport / tickect /PDC badge
• My notebook
• A WiFi card. There will be access points all over the place
• A second battery. I'll be over 12 hours on a plane, a good place to try some things. On location the WiFi connection will consume quite a lot of energy.
• The battery charger with an US-adapter. We have 220V, the US has 110. Most charging devices can work at both voltages but an US outlet has a different form factor. I bought a very handy small adapter which has an US male side and a Dutch female side.
• A box of Aspirin. Hope I don't need that, depends on the climate in the conference center. But I can concentrate far better without a headache, so this could be a session saver.
• The obvious tootbrush
