Monster mouse, a killer

RSI is nasty, not as bad as gout, but both can totaly ruin your productivity. Like many before me I finally got myself a trackball. It's the new MS Intelli-ball. The first thing you'll notice is that it's huge:

The good thing about that is that it really does fit my hand and has no hard edges which irritate. Most mice are actually far to small and/or have irritating edges. Another funny thing is that the usal buttons and wheel are operated by thumb. Your fingers rotate the ball. I was used to the thing in no time. By now I've also used it for form and report design and I am sure : just great. One thing : like all other MS mice the back and forward buttons don't work in FeedDemon. But they do in IE and VS.

Really recomended.

Try out the 3M Rennaisance mouse. It saved my wrists from RSI. I just wish it had a scroll wheel.

I have the same two pointing devices on my desk! Except the mouse is the wireless version.

Only one problem I have... I plug the trackball through my ioGear Omniview KVM switch and the scrolling/back/forward are not well supported through the KVM. Sometimes when I scroll, it causes a forward or back.

Overall, GREAT trackball... the first that I have been comfortable with.
