How bad is the XP Tablet PC edition bug ? (Round up the usual suspects)

So there is a memory leak in the input panel of the Tablet PC OS. As it is in the OS itself it should appear on any brand of tablet PC. But is it really that bad ? In a comment Blair Jennings remarks he had actually never noticed. I really stress my tablet: it has to run combinations of Outlook, FeedDemon, Visual Studio and Virtual PC at the same time. And sometimes the ink in the input panel lags behind the pen, the primal sin for a tablet. So far I blamed all the other stuff the tablet was running; now I know it could be the OS itself.

Yes I do want MS to fix the leak and no, with all the other software around, I don't think that solve everything.
