If you are in the Oklahoma City area and would like to know more about CodeSmith or DirectX, attend the OKC Developer’s Group monthly meeting. We will be at Incredible Pizza for lunch at 5833 NW Expressway and the Downtown Library at 300 Park Avenue 4th floor rooms C and D for our evening meeting.
Topics:
DirectX - .NET provides a
cornucopia of cool tools that are not easy to use if you aren't aware
of what they can do. Vincent Johns will be demonstrating how to invoke
DirectX entirely within a managed .NET environment to display a variety
of 3-D graphics effects, using example programs from the DirectX SDK.
CodeSmith - Raymond Lewallen will be introducing us to
CodeSmith; a template-based code generator that allows you to generate
code for any text language. CodeSmith enables software developers to
efficiently:
- Reduce repetitive coding
- Generate your code in less time with fewer bugs
- Produce consistent code that adheres to your standards
- Create your own custom templates for any language.
