Edmonton Canada .NET User Group Tomorrow May 25, 2006

I am speaking at the Edmonton, Alberta user group tomorrow night.

I will be presenting a talk on creating Project templates. This session will spend time demonstrating the ability to create user group templates using the VS IDE. We will then hack into the details of what happens when you create a template and how you can augmebnt the project creation process with your own .NET code.

Too bad you've got that day. It's Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals at Rexall Place. The Oilers could wrap up the series and be on the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. I suspect attendance at the .NET User Group will be slim. :)

Maybe if Rod changed his presentation to something like: "Building a user control to stream the hockey game using .NET" it would convince the hockey fans to come out ;)

Rod, thanks for taking the time to travel up to Edmonton and present to our group. The topic, presentation and delivery were quite good. Considering it was your first run through on the topic, I'll say you did a fantastic job.

Echoing Don - thanks again for coming up and presenting Rod. I know a lot of people have either E-mailed me or talked to me since and have mentioned that it was a great presentation overall. It was awesome to have you up and I hope we can have you up again at some point!
