• My friend Korby introduced Tagspace, a concept he presented to Scott Hanselman and I back at Palermo's party. I am happy to see it out. Perhaps more novel is Claimspace. For those of us who sometime complain about Microsoft these days, Korby continues to be a fine example of forward-thinking, community involvement and innovation generating great ideas

Home Computing/Windows Vista

1. Like Scott, I am leaving Comcast Cable for Verizon FiOS. It's a no-brainier when you can go from 6 Mbs (that's top, you rarely get that) to fiber-optic 30 Mbps in one swoop!
2. Windows Home Server had a new CTP for testers. This may the best choice for my home network

Software Architecture/Smart Client

• PAG had the 9th weekly code drop for SCSF
• They up spun up the WCSF 1.1 which looks very promising. I looked at the source code and it looks like its going in the right direction

Orcas

• ScottGu continues writing about new Orcas language features with a post on Query Syntax. Scott is another exemplary example of the best of Microsoft
