Fixing the "Unable to start debugging on the web server." message

I love this error - it's truely hideous and the MSDN docs are worthless.  Everytime I've run into this in the past, it's too long between instances to remember what I did.

We'd have to agree to disagree on this point. I'm quite familier with the MSDN Documantation for this issue and it's very extensive and very accurate. If you feel there's something missing you can allways add it to MSDNWiki (as other users have by now). http://msdnwiki.microsoft.com/en-us/mtpswiki/dwesw3ee(vs.80).aspx
