Our Google Adsense Revenue to the Red Cross..

Just a quick note to say thanks for supporting our site, and enduring the
Google Adsense ads on some of our pages. We’ve donated all of our Adsense
revenue so far received to the Red Cross, to aid the victims of Hurricane
Katrina.  Thanks to WebHost4Eric (Eric Wise) for  providing our current hosting
package.  He’s not charging us very much at the moment and is what has allowed
us to afford to do this.

On a personal note, I spent this weekend with
family and extended family who are displaced from this disaster.  In fact, most
of my family are from the area, and all are obviously displaced.  Fortounately,
they are all fine, and in safe, dry places to live for the time being – they are the
lucky ones.

I’ve always considered New Orleans like a second home, and
I’d like to personally thank everyone who has dontated to this cause.

Click, Click, Click. I think this is the first time I have purposely clicked on adsense.

Great! I added a redcross banner to our homepage. Thanks for the tip, I actually didn’t know that you could do that.

And thanks too for the Tebasco link. Hot sauce will survive.. I have a story about my dad going on a date with the heir to the tebasco throne, I could have been swimming in the stuff. Oh well.. :)

Yeah, Luke H, Andy, and I decided to do the same thing. The Red Cross also has banners you can put up.

I like it because it doesn’t require any effort or outpouring of money from the readers, just a click.

As a fellow New Orleans/Cajun lover, I have good news for you!

Clap Clap!! I am glad our viewers didn’t mind the ads so we could donate the money.
