Reflections on ALT.NET Seattle, breakfast

What do you do before you head over to a day of grueling open-space sessions? Why head to Ruby’s diner for breakfast of course.

Here’s my table with Jeremy Miller, Jason Grundy and Jarod Ferguson.

We weren’t the only ones who showed up. That’s Roy Osherove in the corner (without a guitar), and Scott Reynolds doing what looks like tweeting. The side profile is Dru Sellers.Dustin Campbell

Others showed up as well like Udi Dahan and Don Demsak though they escaped my cameras wrath :-) Anyway, after eating our “Wheaties”, we headed over to Digipen for the opening session. with full bellies and eager minds.

@Doc, here’s the definition from Wikipedia “any trying or exhausting procedure or experience. “.

Maybe it wasn’t exhausting for you, but for me open space sessions are much more brain intensive.

I see that as a good thing!

  • Mike Stockdale

Hey, there’s me sitting across from Roy! (and looking quite surly – well, it was *early* …) Next to me is John and Laurel from O’Reilly and next to Roy is Buck. My brain was too overloaded to remember any last names…

  • Dustin Campbell

And of course, the person sitting across from Scott is me. Couldn’t you have taken a shot that didn’t capture my bald spot? :-)

  • Chris Patterson

Not to mention the friendly and helpful waitstaff that managed to bring the food out quickly while it was hot.

And that’s not dsellers in the bottom picture, I’m not sure who it is but I don’t think he lets his hair get quite that long!

    Good times, good times.
