Quotes from the past couple days

Things said to me in the last couple days:

  • “Jeremy, it sounds like you’re building your own CSLA” — you take that back Weston!
  • “You know, if you were using Unity it would have figured it out for you” — said with major sarcasm
  • “It was like listening to 9 year olds describe how babies are made” — in regards to a popular podcast several of us ALT.NET’ers were irritated with.  I’ll make an attempt at a reasonable, adult type of blog post on the subject later.

About Jeremy Miller

Jeremy is the Chief Software Architect at Dovetail Software, the coolest ISV in Austin. Jeremy began his IT career writing "Shadow IT" applications to automate his engineering documentation, then wandered into software development because it looked like more fun. Jeremy is the author of the open source StructureMap tool for Dependency Injection with .Net, StoryTeller for supercharged acceptance testing in .Net, and one of the principal developers behind FubuMVC. Jeremy's thoughts on all things software can be found at The Shade Tree Developer at http://codebetter.com/jeremymiller.

I think I missed that podcast episode… which “show”?

Lemme guess the podcast…. DotNetRocks episode “Julie Lerman on the Entity Framework”?

I agree with you on the podcast. I’m still scratching my head over that train wreck. Looking forward to someone putting some context around it.

I was not interested in the topic so I didn’t listen to it… I’ll listen to it :)

    Hey guys,

This is the real Bil (well, hard to prove these kind of things on the internet anyway) so I’m not sure who put that comment up there but it wasn’t me.

Of course now you might think this post is coming from an imposter claiming the real me isn’t me. Oy vey, it’s so confusing.

Just got an email from Julie asking me about it but I haven’t even listened to the show so not sure what’s going on.

Ahh, the virtues of anonymity on the internet and blog identity theft.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Man, and I was feeling excited about *the* Bil Simser commenting on my blog.

  • http://weblogs.asp.net/bsimser Bil Simser

But I *did* I *did* comment on your blog! Sigh, this is all so confusing.

Why I can’t put some comment?
