In June, I was announcing that CppDepend, the C++
version of NDepend,
was entering Beta. It is now going RTM.

Most of NDepend feature are now available to C++ developers, including
CQL Querying,
Dependency management
and build comparison.

With CppDepend, engineers can dig into these large C++ legacy
applications that every corporation is still developing and maintaining. Developers will
finally shed light to years, or even decades, of development. CppDepend provides the key data to take efficient decisions concerning maintenance and evolution.
If you are curious about what CppDepend has to say about a particular C++ code
base, just download the trial edition and play with it now. The download and trial process is painless (no forms to fill,
no waiting period to get the trial bits, no complex
installation process, several facilities to make CppDepend pointing to your bits).

Issam Lahlali, the project manager of CppDepend, wrote a blog post to
compare MFC 2005 and MFC 2008.
This post reveals some neat facts that show clearly that Microsoft is still
investing massively in MFC evolution.
